Default Boom Strike on an X-cell pro

I was really enjoying flying my x-cell pro heli the other day (still learning but progressing nicely) when I lost the tail rotor. I panicked and set it down hard, and from the tailboom mount aft the heli is toast. I later figured out that the bolts holding the upper main bearing in place vibrated out and caused the tail rotor to bind. Anyhow I am going to put this heli up for a while so I can learn on a cheaper heli. My question is what upgrades would make it a real nice heli in the future. I have the rear servo mount for the tail rotor servo, but I think that is pretty much all that is not stock.

The XL-pro should have most of the higher grade components so you shouldn't need much upgrading. Maybe look into the front tail drive upgrade (MA0832). It's a sturdier design and will hold up to hard flying. The CNC tail rotor gearbox is a nice solid piece too. I have had trouble keeping my tail rotor gears meshed properly in the plastic gearbox.

Oh, and make sure you use threadlock when you put her back together.

Ben,

Thanks for the info! I have a big bottle of blue locktite and will make sure all bolts have it on them!
