Default Raptor 50 and Ordering

Hi guys,
Not attempting to start a war but I've
been out of heli's for a while and am
considering ordering a Raptor 50. So
please give me some ideas as to the best
place to order from considering price,
shipping, and service.
Thanks,
Jerry

I ordered my Raptor 50 Kit from Heli-world.com. They had good prices and ship fast.

Default 50 size heli

May I suggest that you check out the Falcon SEV2 repot that heads up this section. For Training I would suggest getting a set of $20 woodies and save the beautifull Fiberglass unit this heli comes with for later after you are comfortably into forward flight.

Send Eric at Heliproz an email asking for a price on the Raptor 50 with the TT50 motor I think you'll be surprised at the savings. If you don't want the TT50 I'm sure he'll give you a better price than whats quoted on the website for the R50 OS 50 combo.

I went with the TT50 and I can't believe how well this engine runs so far its been more reliable than my Brother in-laws OS 50 it runs smoother and has never quit on me in the air or on the ground, the OS 50 does have little more power.

I see the Century salesmen are out in force, I'm tempted to try a Hawk some day they get just as much bad press as the Raptors and I have three of them that are just great R30, R50 and R60. I've never had any of the problems that others claim are common on Raptors.
