Default new user with a question :)

First in a new member. Im from Sweden.
I own and fly JR helis.
I got a ergo 60 and a ergo 30.

now to my question.

On the ergo 60 I have a probleme with the clearence between the main gear and the bearing that hold the cluth.

The main gear touch the bearing flare on the clutch.
I must use 2 or 3 shims between the main gear and the lower bearing on the main mast to get clearence.
Why is this? And is it bad to use shims?

Sorry for the bad english.

Best Regads

Default JR 60

Hello, I had the same thing with a Z-230 JR- Gasser. One shim was all I needed. No problems since. WLJ

Default Shim

As long as its not touching. I flew for a while without the shim. No real problems. A little white dust is all. It wore enough to clear, but I wanted it to be just a little better. WLJ
