Last year I would have said OS 50 with out batting an eye, however I took a chance and bought the TT 50 and wow what a great engine. Very smooth very powerfull, just shy of the OS 50 in power and this is a first hand comparison comparing apples to apples, same heli, same fuel, same muffler and on and on. It runs smoother than the OS 50 and has never quit on me in the air or on the ground, my friend has had his OS 50 quit in flight and on the ground he's still having problems with the idle to.

The breakin was easy just run it rich for a few tanks and then slowly start leaning it out, I run OS #8 plugs and Sig 15% heli fuel ( would love to run cool power but I'm only 90 miles from Sig manufacturing so fuel is cheap, Cool Power is like liquid gold here) This engine is very reliable, throttle is very smooth with no hesitation or hickups. The more I fly it the better it gets right now there is very little difference between it and my friends OS 50 other then the TT50 is smoother and from what I've experienced a tad more reliable, but only time will tell.

I'm running the TT 50 and I have never had a problem. I have all kinds of power( this motor has never misssed a bet) I have about 2 gallons throught it and it runs great. I bought it becouse it was cheaper the the OS 50 and I'm glad I did(IMPO).

This spring, my LHS matched Helihuts price for the TT50 ($110).
With 6 or 7 gallons now, it runs perfectly.
At this price, it's the best value out there.

I am using an OS 50 in my R50 and it is good so far. I might have to try that TT50, I stayed away from it because of all the bad things I heard about the TT36.

After running a Webra engine in my R30 I will be buying the Speed 52 AAR for my R50. The Webra's are very liable and have a ton of power!
