I have a caliber 30. When I hover or fly forward or when climbing out it is smooth as glass. When I decend from 100 feet or so, sometimes the heli starts to shake, to make it stop, I just add power and decend at a differnt speed. I adjusted my pitch and throttle curves so as not to fly in the rpm and pitch range where the shaking occurs. It only happens when i desend, and then not all the time. Other than that , the heli is smooth, any ideas. Would aftermarket blades help, I still have the stock one on it.

Roy,
I had a similar problem on my Caliber and it turned out to be a bent feathering shaft. I also had to change the blade grips because one of them was a little worn where the bearing fits into the blade grip.

It is the gyro sensitivity. You need to correctly change your gain and get your headspeed back up to where it should be. I assume you have a 401. If you do then I will tell you how to do it.
Yeah tunning the engine richer should help only because richening it decreased rpms, but it won't make the problem go away. I never flew with a bent feathering spindle so I don't know what that is like, but if it was the case I don't think the helicopter would stop doing that when you change your curves.
