The 601 with a 9251 servo would be the way to go if you have the money, if you don't, I would go with the 401 with the 9254 servo. I have had very good luck with the 401, it holds rock soild and it is easy to set up. I'm going to try the 601 on my new heli. I have read a lot of good thing about it, people seem to like it a lot and say it is one of the best gyro's on the market.

I too would recommend the Futaba 401 with 9254, can't go wrong with it. If you're a die-hard JR man though, check out the 490T, I've flown a top end heli with one fitted and it was just as good as the 401.

I have the JR 490T with the NES 810G servo, fitted on a JR venture 60. I had some problems initially but later found it was due to thrust bearings in the tail rotor. Once that was sorted the tail has not moved since unless it has been told to do so.
