FWIW,
I'm guessing in my haste to get on this forum I didn't read the fine print. Anyway, I hope the following helps others. When you post a "private message" to another flyer, you don't get something in email for other type of "notice" that let's you know "you have messages".
However, in the top header of this forum, there are many titles to go to. One of those "titles" is labeled "PM". When you receive a private message from another flyer the "PM" turns "red" as an indicator of a waiting message. I hope this helps others, as me, who didn't realize I had private messages on hold. Actually, previously the only way I found I had messages was to send one myself, and that "window" then showed up indicating sent messages.

One thing too, you need to empty the mail box :idea: .
Sent items tracking so on so forth.
This will keep your mailbox clean and will not bounce incoming emails.
