I keep breaking the tail rotor and was thinking about making my own from fibreglass and a mould from plastercine. Has anyone tried this yet or do it themselves? I think im mad spending £4.50 everytime these things break.
I had my third one delivered today and it was fractured before I even got it out of the packet
Surly being lighter and stronger fibreglass is the best way to go.
Thanks for any tips...

What heli is it for ? I had the same problem on my humminbird and fixed w/ an upgrade. I cant remember who makes that tail rotor but it comes with a new shaft and also, you need to change the polarity on the tail motor cause it runs the other way... Hope that helps... Ohh and the price is about the same you'd pay for the original so its not bad.

I made one from thin metal but but it must have been too heavy. I had the curvature how it should be and it was stable but the extra weight made it slower.
