If you spent enough time with the manual to figure out all the mixing needed, it might be possable, but it would be easier to just learn switchless right from the start. Get a sim....

I don't know if you can setup the invert switch in a 10X, but I wouldn't even try & figure it out if I was you.

Invert switch + inverted heli == perfect scenario for meeting mother earth in an uncontrolled manner !!!

If you want to give inverted a try, I suggest you get yourself a sim and practise on it WITHOUT the invert switch.

Once you start using the switch, it will be near to impossible to fly switch-less ... which means 3D will probably never be in your bag of tricks.

I have a sim..But it seems to easy on the sim..In comparison to the real thing...Being 50 years old and not haveing the skill I had at 20...It's a lot harder for me then for you young guys...

I'm right behind you in age. Yes it's allot easier on the sim to do switchless inverted plus there is no fear factor. Everything goes to jello when it's the real thing, been there, done that. I found it to be the easiest to learn on the sim doing nose in inverted hover. Fly the nose only. Do the same thing up stairs with the real heli and slowly work your way lower over time .I'm still 50 feet or so up with mine and can cut grass on the sim. I know how you feel....

if your sim program matches the cyclic and collective responses of your heli, then you can do anything with the heli that you can do on the sim. just do it up high until you're comfortable with it. it's about choosing whether you want to conquer a maneuver or surrender to the fear of crashing, which isn't the end of the world. and forget the invert switch. i learned switched inverted first and it was really difficult to unlearn it and fly switchless.
