Hi Guys...My friend has an Excell 60, SE I think, Here's the problem: In a hover his blades go way out of track, the thing "Woofs", has caused a crash a couple of times due to loss of control. We can't figure out what is causing it. At first we thought it was a radio problem, so receiver was replaced, then cyclic servos, battery, switch, all to no avail. All bearings are tight, feathering shaft was checked for straightness,( this has a Bergen head on it), we even tried different mains. We still have the problem...Any ideas?....Coop

I agree with the above...sounds like the spindle is bent...this is hard to detect w/o taking it out...but one way to test is to put an allen wrench on one end and hold the blade holder on the other end...if the blade holder moves up and while turning the spindle that is the problem....I had this problem on one of my 30 size xcells...drove me up the wall til I figured it out.....Also a too high head speed could be the cause.

Hi, I am the guy who had the woof problem with the X-Cell 60.
It turns out that what was causing the problem was the rubber "o" ring dampers and adjacent washers in the head. The "o" rings were damaged and one of the washers was cupped.
Thanks everyone, especially you coop for your help.
