Default X-CEll GASSER Gyro?

First of all I don't think they make the 501 anymore... I believe that it's been replaced by the 502...

I fly an X-Cell gasser and have been flying a 401 for over a year now with absolutely no problems... The combos 9253 servo works flawlessly and the tail locks right on, as long as the engine is running smooth...

I know that there are more adjustments on the 502/601's but simpler is usually better and for non competition flying the 401/9253 combo works great...

Default Yea, GY401/9253 combo is good

I'm with twguns, the GY401 with the 9253 servo is doing great in my Xcell Gasser.

This 401 was my first one, and I like it so much right now, that any new gyro I get will be the GY401 combo. No matter what heli I put it on. (Well, unless something else comes out that simplly kicks the GY401/9253 combo's butt, which I don't see hasppening real soon.)

Good price, good operation, and simple to install/setup. What more could one want? Well if your into contest flying where tweeking is almost a must, then the gy601 prolly shines there.

Default X-CEll GASSER Gyro?

While the 9201 will work, at .22/60* it's pretty slow for a HH gyro... I would try to use something in the .14 or faster range with your gyro...

The 9253 digital is about the fastest available (designed to use with HH gyros) at .08/60*... High torque is not needed for the tail and the 9253's 28 oz. in. is plenty...

Yes, the Futaba gyros all work very well with the JR radios... I fly a 10X with all Futaba servos and gyros...
