Default Which OS 50?

Which OS.50 is better?

OS.50 SXH
or
OS .50 SXH Hyper

The Hyper has the better carb from what I have read. Will this be a better fit for the EVO?

What about the crank mod. Is it neccessary?

Thanks

I have a stock OS 50 SX-H in my EVO. Fits perfectly and plenty of power.

From what I understand the new carb reduces or eliminates the lean midrange that some people are experiencing in their standard 50. My EVO is getting a Hyper.

The standard 50 has plenty of power, I've flown both the standard and hyper in nearly identical Raptor 50's. The hyper seemed to have more power and a smoother midrange, my guess is putting that carb on the stock 50 would help it a bit but it wasn't a signifigant difference. Also the cats eye mod helps the standard 50. If your buying new, I would get the hyper.
