I just purchased an older RC heli..It says Barron 50 on the rear vertical stabilizer..It is a 60 size with a ton of spares...I was told it is a great flyer!..It seems to be 53.mghz...Any idea the age of this bird..I was offered 500 clams for it and I am thinking of selling it..
Any info is helpful.

Well maybe you can give us more info to know exactly what model you have. For example: Do the fuel tank is round???
If it round, maybe is a Kalt Baron Alpha CXII .

What ever Baron you have is discontinued and is very hard to find spare parts.........Here is a pic of my Kalt Baron Alpha CXII

Sell it, quick, before they find that you can't get any parts for it. The Baron 50 was made about twenty years ago, and it needed a lot of work to keep it flying correctly even them. I had a friend that had a few of them and a Baron 60. He had so much trouble with them that he eventually just gave up on them. One day a few years ago, he gave all the stuff to me, just to get ride of it. They did have a lot of good parts, it just seems the whole never equaled the sum of the parts. Kalt later developed the Baron line into a pretty good FAI heli, then the whole line was sold to someone who decided not to market them.

If it has a round tank and is an Alpha, I might could use come parts to keep mine flying.
