How to determine a bad servo
I put four JR 8311 Hi-torque digitals through a rough crash when i was hovering. Something in the elevator control gave out cause it did a nasty backflip in the blink of an eye. Other than hooking them up to the receiver and checking for movement, is there any tips out there for checking the gears inside without opening the entire thing up? thank you

RE: How to determine a bad servo
Are you sure it was a servo problem. Ive seen that sort of crash before, and it was caused by a ESC cutoff. The battery got too low in a hover, and the ESC shut everything down (including the motor), and next thing you knew it was in the deck.

RE: How to determine a bad servo
I don't suspect the servos being the cause at all...i just want to be sure they were not damaged in the crash before i put them back in the helicopter.
