Default Got the heli..Got the engine..what next?

I finally got my first helicopter ordered (sweet!) it's a Raptor 30 V2 Pro Kit w/Pro 39 so god knows it won't be here for awhile. I'm trying to get everything together I'll need to build and fly this thing. I've got a 8103A radio which does all the heli functions and a spare flight pack with 4 537 servos for a temporary solution. I plan on ordering a GY401/9253 combo from Heliproz but I am curious to what else I'll need to order. I fly airplanes too so I already have the starter and all that stuff. If anyone could make me a short list that would be great. If you could also recommend a good pitch guage that would help. I forgot to add I already have RF G2 and have used it for a month and succesfully hovered a friend's Raptor a few times w/o training gear so you can take those two off the list.

I know I'm a little biased but I really like the Min Air #526 pitch guage. It seems the windows are in the right place and its simple to use.

You'll also need a starter adapter. I think the Raptor uses a 6mm hex. If you already have a plank starter then I would get an adapter that lets you keep the start cup on your starter instead of one of the adapters that replaces the cup.

I use one with a one-way adapter built in as some of my helicopters require it. You might want to consider getting one now in case you continue with helis an get one that requires this type of adapter. I use the T&T but I don't see it listed at Ricks. It was only $30 so you might want to call them about it.

Also, the Raptor has a front facing engine so the glow plug is hard to access. If you don't already have one you should a remote glow extension.

Hope this helps,
Mike

Don't forget the Mustard and Ketchup. Oh yeah, relish as well.
