I do not recomend keeping the elctronics or engine outside because of the risk of condensation and do not keep the fuel outside because in very cold weather because it will seprate and it warm weather it will gloss. I don't see a problem with leaving anything else out, though.

I'm with RS2K, the condensation will ruin your electronics condensation can start corrosion, once started it is hard to stop especially at the connectors as well. The fuel might ruin from drastic temp changes too.

Speaking of fuel I left my field box in my truck myself, better get it out now...Lot of bucks in equipment just in the FB.

Have you ever thought of keeping all your field box equipment in a closet in a large plastic container. I bought one at wally world for 10 bucks or so with a inter locking lid (snap-on). But with the fuel, I put it out of reach of my Little ones..(daughters)

I'm with Hitch-Hiker I love flying in the winter.
A few years ago one of the pilots came up with some small skis. We had a blast scooting our helis around on the fresh snow.
Dont store em fly em.

im just talking about keeping it out in the building over night
i generally fly 3 go 4 times a week
just concerned with leaving it in the cold when i am not flying
will it be ok

I have a work shop in my back yard that I've always kept my stuff in year round. It is sealed off well and the walls are insulated. I work in it year round also. I've never had a problem. I got out of flying for a few years and am using some 3 year old Power Master and it's burninng fine, hasn't even discolored. Use common sense and you'll be fine. I see you are in N.C. you probably dont see the temp. changes ( -20 at night and in the 60s during the day)we do here in UT. Moisture is our enemy.

Turner,
Where do you fly? I live in Shelby and their are no heli pilots over here. I fly a Venture and still in the hovering stage. Send me a message if you would like to get together and fly, I could use the advice to help with transitioning to FF.
