This is crap I just got the 9CAP for my Raptor 50 to replace the outdated 8UHPS and when I started to set up the new radio when I got to the point of setting up inverted. It does NOT HAVE INVERT MODE on it. Futaba what the hell are you thinking to take features out and then short us a servo to???????
Thanks to you I now have a crap radio with even less features than my 8HP and can't use it. I have read others posts on this forum saying this radio is so great and the guys at RCHELI said the 8UH is outdated. So much for good advice on these furms.

Losiboy, look at it from Futaba's point of view. There may be two people, including you, in the whole USA, that want that feature. Everyone else is flying switchless so they can do more than just flip a heli upside down, and would rather Futaba put their effort into other features.

Invert switch is like cheating! Learn to fly it right!! Just imagine your out flying and your buddy hands you his radio to fly his heli but he doesn't have the invert switch, what do you do then?

I do not have this TX, however it seems to me that you could if wanted, use a P-Mix/Condition to select a switch for inverted flight. However as other's have suggested this is a thing of the past... The TX's of today offer the condition menus to alleviate the need for this type of programming.

That is one of the reason Futaba took the invert switch off the 9C. Most of the pilots they polled told them that an invert switch and program was a thing of the past and just using memory and a place for a switch for something else that is needed.
Losi don't know why you would need an invert switch, you can't hover inverted with the training gear still attached.

Well since you are still using the invert does your heli still have mechanical tail rotor mixing?
I would like to buy your radio if you decide to sell it, maybe the reciever if it is on 50 Mhz. I could throw in a Schluter Mini-boy.

Hey Ken,
I was looking at your radio before the drag races at the Heli Internationals in Muncie last fall when I was working impound.
The only switch I saw on the radio was labeled WFO.....
That a special drag radio design?

You got it HALF Backwards, LosiBOY
The 9CAP is the airplane version that has the same features of the Heli but with the switches reversed.
Yes, you better get rid of it and the heli too.......before you kill someone
like yourself.

Easy guys, I can understand how it feels not to have what you expected. First time I bought a CCPM heli I forgot my radio was not compliant either. New radio time for me.
