Default Tail Wag

Hello Guys. I have an sceadu 50, o.s.50hyper and a GY401 with 9253servo. I use to fly my heli with 85mm tail blades. It seems they were to small and the gyro sensitivity has to operate at the limit. Change them for a pair of 97mm tail blades. Now at hover the heli seems to work fine but as soon as I start flying the tail starts wagging. I already lower the gyro sensitivity and check belt tension. I know some guys who are flying on a 92-97mm range without any problems. Some others say it is to much load for the tail. Wonder what else could that be

thanks

Keep reducing the gain. Also check your ball on your rudder servo, should be about 14mm from the center of the spline.

Your effectively increasing the gain and lowering the resolution of the servo at 17.5 mm

17.5 is a bit far. Around 14mm seems ideal.

You need to back off the gain, that is why your getting hunting or tail wag.

Hi Barracuda, you were right. It was the gyro gain. Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it.
