I purchased the thrust bearing upgrade kit for the Learner 30 and I've noticed 2 things:
1. The spindle is much longer than the stock spindle- something doesn't seem right- is a much longer spindle correct or did I get the wrong part?
2. The blade grips turn with much more resistance than when setup with the stock bearings in the bladegrips- also one bladegrip has a sorta "ratcheting" feel to it- as if the thrust bearing balls are grinding a bit...I didn't overtighten it- but can't get rid of the "ratchet" feel- I'm sure this isn't correct- what can I do?
I've also noticed that is full left rudder is given- the tail bladegrip holders can slam into the lever- I can setup end-point to not allow full deflection- has the kit been designed to work with this reduced throw- or did someone slip up on the design of the tail rotor linkage system?
On my particular kit- i'm having quite a bit of a problem getting the clutch to spin freely with the engine mounted- it rubs the clutch and i've removed quite a bit of clutch liner to improve the clearance from liner to clutch- anyone else experience this??
The Q30 crash kit I bought had a pair of 550 blades that are unweighted- is this the norm? They are lightweight and seem of decent quality- but are unweighted blades up to par? (blade flutter- sub-par auto performance??)
I think the Q30 is a nice kit but a little rough around the edges....any new improvements or changes in store for the Q30?

Disregard the comments on the ratchety blade grips- Fury2 has made me aware of an ill placed washer on the bladegrips.....thanks Paul.
