From: Winlock ,
WA,
I am ordering a Venom temp gauge for my 30 and 60 machines to hopefully achieve a healthy operating atmosphere.
But WHAT ARE THE TEMPS SUPPOSED TO BE.
I read a lot of conflicting comments about this issue. Some guys claim they run theirs at 125 -135 (must be at -30) while others say 225 is perfectly OK.
The Venom takes the temp from a sensor around the head.
I run 15% CP
Any manufacturer recommended data out there ??
YS 80 ST3
OS 61 WC
OS 32 SH-H
TT 50
TT 39

From: Richardson, TX,
I run 225-235 90 degrees from exhaust on 30% power master in an OS 50 on a V1 Rap 30 to 50 conversion.
I got this temp from heliproz. Good power and nice smoke during all types of flying.
