Ok guys, I installed a perry pump on my heli about 3 weeks ago and I used the hard red tubing from the pump to the crankcase as the instructions strongly recommended that you should. Here's my problem... the tubing keeps breaking right at the pump and keeps shutting the engine off
. Although i'm getting quite good at autos now, i'd rather land when i want to. Anyone else had this problem?? Is another type of tubing acceptable?

I had the same problem, the engine vibration is what causes it. What I did was just put the pink stuff (Prather's Fuel Line) on it. It's a lot softer but it seems to be working very well. What size engine do you have this on?

OS 61 SX-H - i tried some of that pink tube and i cant tell a difference from the hard red one. I went through about 1/3 gallon today and no problems at all. Guess it's not such a big deal what you use. Only thing i had to do was use some light glue for the nipple to keep the tubing on. It had a decent fit but the pump has no flange to keep it on tight. I was afraid it might blow off during flight.
