Default Engine Upgrade

There is a 46 conversion kit available for all of our 30 size machines. The cost of the upgrade is $39.99 and comes with a motor mount and collet set. Keep in mind that you will also need a muffler to complete the conversion.

As far as the webra motor is concerned HHI has not tested that engine and has no facts to say what kind of power it has. My only sugestion would be to make sure that it has the same demensions as the OS46.

I will try to get a webra engine and do some test and post my findings.

Happy flying,
Stefan

Default listing

Stefan,

have a web address handy for a parts listing or product # so that I may look at this upgrade- also what happens with regards to stock length boom? Is it retained or do we use another longer boom?

Thanks

What are all the parts need for the conversion ie. blade size tail booms? Has anyone tried the OS 50 on it?

Default Quick 30 to OS50

If somehone has the answer as to whether or not
this will work, I would love to put mine up with
an OS50. I have the Rappy five oh and it's one hot
screamin honey of a machine! This wonderful little
Quick 30 pro, if converted would be sweet as apple pie!
Jon, Stephan, Irwin, is this possible?

Hello Byron,

I won't say it can't be done, but we don't recommend it. OS46 is all we recommend, and it is more than enough power for the 30s. All that is involved is bolting in the 46 with the motor mount/collet set, putting on a set of 580mm blades, and you're ready to go.

Sincerely,
Jon Yuhas

Default Thanks Jon

I was hoping it really could be done.
The Rappy 50 conv really rocks in the sky.
The Q30Pro, allbeit a slight bit heavier than
Taya's bird, could be a nice flyer too with
that powerful, but thirsty engine. (OS50)
I know QWW has a Q50 out, but overall
I am happy with my 30pro.
I am, however, looking forward to the Q15
as a Trunk anytime little flyer!
Do you know when the manual will be ready
and you folks will start shipping to USA addresses?
Thanks!

We will probably be shipping Q15 kits in about two weeks.

Default RE: Larger engine in the Quick 30 PRO

I just bought a Quick 30. Can someone please point me in the right direction to find the upgrade kit. I want to put a .46 in it. It is a learner. I have gone to the Quickheli site, but cannot find it. Thank you.

Default RE: Larger engine in the Quick 30 PRO

Any one have a Q60? Any suggestions on what is the best motor?

I found OS61 SX-h WC, or OS70 SZH, or YS61 ST II New version (fuel injected) and about the same price range.

I won it on a bid and looks like a promising heli.

any advice

Larry
