It looks to ba a GMP Cricket, they were 30 size helis, non-collective, if it has a 50 in it, somebody must have drilled new mounting holes in the engine mount. They were hard to fly with a 30 size, can't imagine how much fun it would be with 50 <G> ........Coop

I agree. I used to own a cricket more than 15 years ago. It is amazing how much better helis are today. To think that thing used to cost hundreds!! :spinnyeye
How on earth can you fly that thing with a 50?!? The blades were tiny. You go full throttle with a 50 and you may throw a blade....

They will fly, but they are tricky...Best set-up tip I can give you is to set it up on a shelf as a display piece..<G> Here is a web site just for the Cricket... http://www.crickethelicopters.com/index.html ...Coop

Yes............it's a GMP Cricket. I still have mine. It's a very rare "Gold" Edition. Wouldn't even think about flying mine anymore. I just use it for a conversation piece. They are stable and easy to fly, (sorta) but not like a machine with collective. And guess how you track the blades? With a Cresent wrench on each blade grip and you bend it! (No joke)
I think I have an extra canopy if you are interested.
