This topic has been run into the ground (no pun intended) over on runryder. This is about the stupidest thing anyone could do with their heli. You do realize that those blades are spinning about 2000 rpm and that could easily injure or worse kill someone if he were to loose control. I also like the can of beer on the table behind the heli. He keeps it up, he'll be in line for a Darwin award.

wow.... just wow. the person filming must have only been a few feet from that heli! isn't that a raptor 60?

There's a new invention on cameras now. It's called Zoom. It makes things appear closer than they really are. If this was utilized, the camera person may have been the smartest person in the room, which obviously wouldn't have been much of a challenge.

he wasnt zoomed in....you can tell by the way the room showed through the door, to get the angle he got, and see as far into the room to the left as he did, if he was zoomed, then that halways is REALLY wide..plus zoom when using a handheld camera makes for a very jittery shot...since small movements are bigger when zoomed...

I guess it's a new way for rednecks to get high off meth! out of all the people there, didn't one of them think that flying a raptor inside a tiny room might be a little...... dumb? great video though :-)

Either that or the real pilot is standing off to the side while she holds another transmitter.

And by the way, just a heads up...whenever you try to insult someone buy calling them a redneck...it doesnt work...Im a "refined" redneck (meaning for 8 hours a day i can act civil and boring) ... but ive never taken the word redneck to offense...

The plane flying in the room is also kinda dumb, but at least there are no other people in the room with him. It looks to me that he set camera up and put it on auto. I fly my CX around in my living room when family is over, but I would never do anything liek that.

Either that or his Futaba Tx is running low. Hate to see what happens if the Tx dies.

I would say it is stupid but just real dangerous. But you could see that he had it under control. it is funny to hear the smoke alarm go of. And that plane one is just crazy.

I think this was rather short on common sense but respect their choices. Some of the responses on on the other boards are downright irritating!.[:@]

There was actually a guy threatening to go over and destroy their heli if he ever saw these folks flying near him...for the good of the hobby no less! The guy was from California, go figure.

I know one thing. Future Darwin award winners right there for sure....I figured the photo was just a photoshop'd pic...the video however tells us there really are people that stupid.
