ok i know its a preference thing but, is there anything that makes the xp9303 better or not as good as the 9chps. i am interested in knowing if 1 is easier to program than the other and does 1 have better support than the other? or is totally a personal preference and they are equally great radios?

I can only tell you that I have read good things about the 9C, but I have 9303 and it is a very user friendly radio. I personally find it easier to program then the 8103 and that is very easy radio to program.
I'm a JR fan when it comes to radios, but I don't think you can go wrong with either one.
I don't think anyone has ever used support for a JR radio because of the quality [X(][X(]. (it' a joke guys, don't flame me )

They feel different in your hands. I've flown both and prefer the Futaba, if you don't have a bunch of recievers for one or the other get whatever feels best to you if you can go to a shop or field and get a feel for both of them side by side.
You really can't go wrong with either one.

RE: futaba/jr
I guess a lot depends on what I get for the dollar spent. I have used both radios and find them both very capable (I prefer the feel and programming of the 9C).
But the Futaba is a lot less expensive. With decent digital servos there is a 150 to 170 dollars difference. That means I can apply that difference to the gyro. That means for the same money I could have a 9C with the 611 gyro or the 9303 with the 401.
In that case there is no doubt in my mind that the 9C with the 611 will fly my heli a lot beter then the 9303/401 combo.
