I found a like to build your own USB interface cable, but its out of service.
Does anyone have a like to a working webpage, or can somone offer more info about building my own for a RD6000?
Also, does the USB cable supply power to the Radio so that I won't eat up my batteries?
Thanks,
Chris

Pull the module out of the radio if it has one (I'm not familiar with the RD6000), if it doesn't, just take the crystal out, that way it won't send out a signal and it won't be so hard on your battery (the battery will last a lot longer).

What JR radio do you have? I think you will find if you don't take the module out that it is sending out a signal. Plug your radio in to your sim and turn your heli on, that will tell ya.
When I use my 9303 on the sim, If I don't take the module out it is real hard on the battery, if I take the module out the battery will last twice as long before I have to charge it.

It's and Airtronics RD6000, I just ordered a cable for $50US (includes shipping), should get it in a week or so. But that new bird is looking soooo tempting, maybe I should wait to learn how to crash on a simulator first
Gorgok - Worked great! Thanks

I allready sold a thousand of USB Simulator Cables worldwide. A very cheap, but perfect choice could be:
[link=http://www.hobbydirekt.de/Simulator-co/USB-Simulator-Interface::249.html]USB Sim Interface[/link]
It is working with all brands that use two pins for simulating, like JR, Hitec, Futaba, Multiplex, Walkera, Graupner, and many others as there are 6 different adapters and i also think 26$ isn´t that much for it

Some sims use dedicated leads and not the joystick input as they won't work with a joystick. However, will this work with Ikarus EasySim?
