Default Wire Drive Upgrade

Where could I find a guide pipe or torque tube instead of the (wire drive) for the Nexus 30.

I am not positive but I think the century torque tube for their 30 size helis is a direct swap. I can verify that monday afternoon.

Looks like it might work, but wait till he finds out.

I would defitnetly go with a TT drive over wire if possible because, the heading hold gyros availible now the wire drive will twist up and recoil with the superior holding capability of HH gyros . Stopping capabilities (tail authority) will be not near as effective as the TT set-up in this heli.

Unfortunately, The guy I knew that did the conversion used someone elses upgrade made for the nexus. I'd still bet that the century torque tube will work. The only thing I'd be concerned about is the spacer that sets the space between the two bearings on the shaft that comes off the main gear. I have used the Century tail boom on my Nexus as well as the entire tail gearbox from a century heli. It was all interchangeable. You might give century a call. They may have a TT kit for the Nexus. They used to have other upgrades as well.
Good Luck, Sorry I couldn't help more.
