Default Gyro installation

My Voyager 50 has limited space on the radio tray ,
Will servo leads / wires running along and over the gyro sensor be a problem.

Thanks

It's Ok to run them along side. Make sure the actual gyro does not contact other parts of the helicopter, such as the frame, battery, etc.

Wish they would make the trays a tad bit bigger. I like to mount my gyro under the hood as well.

I mounted my gyro sensor under the tray , Tried the chopper and the tail went mad , it spun out of control.

Phoned a Friend , he told me to switch the REV switch on the gyro sensor ON , all went well thereafter

As a rule thats not a real good idea, if it breaks off it's curtains.

Mount it right side up even if you have to stick it on top of a battery or receiever.

Sounds like that guy might be right - the direction could be reversed.

Do this:

Make sure the tail is working in the proper direction.

Next move the transmitter stick for right tail rotor and note which direction the servo arm moves.

While the machine is on your bench - quickly twist the heli to the left the servo should move in the same "right" direction as before.

Regards
