I am in a similar boat. I started getting into rc helicopters around 1990 or so and bought 1.3 version of aerochopper for my Concept 30 that I just dusted off. I stopped using the helicopter in 1991 or so. I am just now getting back into rc helicopters again so I pulled out my aerochopper sim and found out that it does not run on anything faster than a 486. It just gives an error when launching it.
I have heard the company produced a 2.1 version of aerochopper that works with newer computers but the company has gone out of business

While FMS is nice, it doesn't work with the serial transmitter that came with RC Aerochopper. I could use a copy of the software as well. Thanks to anyone who can send it to me!

I think I have the original floppy for RC aerochopper somewhere around here, I'll look around but there is a possibility I tossed it into the garbage.
I paid $200 for that sim back in the day. Very primitive but it did help me get my orientations down.
I am using a JR Quattro TX that I picked up for $25 and a serial to mini patch cord to run HeliX (free) which has very nice photo realistic backgrounds.
I used PPjoy to set up a virtual joystick and Picjoy is taking care of the interface to the JR. Works perfect.
This is the link to HeliX ( much better than FMS , I have both ). http://heli-x.net/index_e.shtml

@#$%!&% ISP is filtering port 80. Try the same address at port 1111 like http://ferrari.dontexist.net:1111/aerochopper20.zip
