Default muffler pressure nipple

Will it make any difference with the muffler fuel pressure nipple facing down? The Hatori pipe only has one hole pre-drilled and tapped and when installed will face down.

Thanks,

jr

It might look goofy but it will work fine.

It will work as long as it remains clear. So make sure that it does not get plugged with oil residue. If it does partially or fully plug, it will cause your engine to run irratically or constatntly lean. This is why many mufflers now come in configurations that allow you to mount the nipple in various locations.
