Go with something like a hummingbird or Venum Knight Ranger II. Any single rotor, fixed pitch heli will get you alot farther then the counter-rotating types. Yea, the single rotors are harder to fly than the counter rotating helis, but if you plan on progressing to gas eventually, you will get more of your money woth with one of these. Reason being is the cx and the other 'lama' type helis will basically hover them selves without any control inputs (you can litteraly set the controler down on a table while its hovering). Is this how a bigger gas heli flys? Absolutly not, you are always making corrections to make it do what you want.
