I saw my first RC heli at The Orlando Classic about 3 1/2 years ago,and was amazed at what was being done,i knew i wanted one. Then 2 years ago a friend of mine introduced me to Rodney a.k.a."osventure32" and he helped me get started.I bought a Century HawkIII and flew for about 6 months then had a string of crashes that discouraged me and emptied my wallet,i got disgusted and sold everything i had.It wasnt long before i started going through withdrawls.
About 6 months ago i bit the bullet and bought an Ergo 60 and have been flying that ever since.I have been working on all my ground work i.e.all orientations upright and inverted.Have been recently challenging myself to learn new manuevers and have learned alot...rolls,loops,stall turns, auto's,inverted, tail slides and most recently and still a little shakey backwards inverted.I use the G2 simulator alot and that has helped me tremndously.
This hobby is the absolute bomb and i dont see myself leaving anytime soon.

Dude , I got into them because I have more money than brains...Not to say that I have all that much money.... I thought they would be a cheap diversion for the times I was not able to be flying my Fullscale plane...Man was I way off ,not cheap at all but too late now, I am hooked bad.....

I fly Agricultural aircraft for a living and have always wanted to get my heli license. I couldn't justify the $20000 to fly full size so I spent a bit less than that and started flying RC helis ; )
I think considering that actually flying is nothing new to me and I really dont get a kick out of it anymore. I find flying RC a bit more challenging and fun. Not so many rules and regualtions to worry about...Just go out and hover!
