Default vibrations at hover

Hi all
i am new to helis. i fly the nexus 30 which is my first heli. please no flames. i know its not the best chopper but....
just have take off in hover, sometimes the heli starts shaking violently to the point where i have to put it down. my blades are balanced. tracking seems to be on. people have been referring to "more head speed".
is this the problem and if so how do i get more head speed.

Default Pitch

Is your Pitch to spec for the Heli?
Get a Pitch gage and check to see what the are set at.

Do you have training gear on? Some times training gear will make your heli shake. You should try and find someone to help you set it up, it could save you alot of time and money. See if you can find someone here that can help you.http://www.p-locate.rc-helipad.com/

The head on the Nexas is a bit soft so you would need a higher head speed, I would shot for 1650 - 1750.

Default training gear

when i first started flying helis I had the same problem--I checked and re-checked everything until one of the experienced guys said its probably the training gear--I finally got up enough nerve to take off the training gear and she was smooth--the heli was also the nexus--also try adjusting your headspeed--sometimes that helps--remember the downwash of the rotor is is blowing air down on the training gear and it starts to vibarate then the whole heli starts to shake..Get an experienced flyer to try it with the training gear off and see what happens....good luck....joe

more throttle less collective....

you should have pitch trimmer or throttle trimmer on your radio so up the throttle trim dial and reduce the pitch trim dial...

Might be best to get someone experienced to set it for you....

Is it possible that the main shaft is bent? Sometimes the likeliest solution is the least obvious....
