How about using some binocculars while you fly? [sm=49_49.gif]

AMA Safety Code #10 under Radio Control
The operator of a radio-controlled model aircraft shall control it during the entire flight, maintaining visual contact without enhancement other than by corrective lenses that are prescribed for the pilot. No model aircraft shall be equipped with devices which allow it to be flown to a selected location which is beyond the visual range of the pilot.

Wow Tippy,
Yeah I was just kidding. Looks like you know the AMA rules. I have to admit that I never noticed this rule. Perhaps someone has actually done this. This brings to thought the idea of using an onboard camera to fly. I have seen a picture of a guy sitting in his living room watching the tv while he flys his camera equipped heli. I wonder if anyone noticed this as a violation? When I saw this pic, it made me upset that someone would do something that stupid. What also bothered me was that he flew around his neighbors house! That's an accident waiting to happen if the camera quit working.
