Default SUDDEN SERVO FAILURE!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi,
Yesterday I was flying my gas .30 Venture CP heli, which has a g500t gyro and a nes-810g servo in the tail, when suddenly, the rudder was stuck and i had no control on the helis tail. It started spinning very fast, but as i was only a few feet from the ground, i managed to landed safely with only a broken sky. (actually i can fix it with some glue)
Now as soon as i give power to it, it goes really fast to one end, and gets stuck there. I am afraid that it is still drawing a HUGE amount of power because of having stalled. I am certain that the gyro works ok because i tried it with another servo.
Does anybody know why can this happen??? I dont want it to happen again and end up with a crash!!!
Thankful in advance, and i apologize for my english.

servos just get old, and depending on the servo they can just have too much stress and go out.
i would suggest a stronger servo on the tail. and a metal geared one (not sure how strong the nes-810g servo is. i usualy only deal with minis)
but servos especialy the tail, get a lot of stress and eventualy they have to give.

Are you sure it's not something wrong with the gyro? Unplug the servo from the gyro and plug it directly into the receiver and see what it does.

Hi. Thanbks for all the input.
Are you sure it's not something wrong with the gyro? Unplug the servo from the gyro and plug it directly into the receiver and see what it does.
At first, I thought it was the gyro too, but i tested it with another servo, and it worked fine.

i would suggest a stronger servo on the tail. and a metal geared one (not sure how strong the nes-810g servo is. i usualy only deal with minis)

I think you are right. I will look for a better or stronger one!!! Do you have anyone to suggest ?? perhaps a 9650???
Thanks again

My latest favorite tail servo is the Hitec HS6965, it will work with most gyros except fot the Futaba 601/611.
Th6965 has more than emough speed and power to handle anything you throw at it. I can be run in DS mode with a 401/502 and will handle 6V with no problem.

Your english is great!. No need to apologise. I have seen a lot worse. Like people using online translators. They get the job done but not great english. Not to say that is bad... That means they really want to use this site!
