Default X-Cell 60 Custom

Hello All, Just bought an X-Cell 60 from a friend. It has been sitting for awhile but in good shape. It has an OS .61 and a Gyro System NEJ-130A gyro. I have the books including the custom supplement(?). I am new to helis (can you tell?!) and would like to see if anyone can supply more info than what I already have. I have been flying planes for 7 years and fly everything from a Zagi to a G62 powered Giant Stinger. I have flown helis on sims, but never the REAL thing. I will be using my my 9cap, any setup tips? I plan to hook up with the original owner also. I have been reading the MA section here on RCU as well. Sorry I can't post pics, file to large. I will email pics if anyone needs to look. TIA Brian.

Yo

If the model has a stiff tail drive shaft (doesn't wind easily holding the head and tail) and push pull controls then it's a Custom 60.
If the side frames are one peice and cranked it's 7-14 years old!
Plastc radio tray and H radio tray brace makes it one of the newer Customs.

You can still get parts as usual with MA, but some will be the latest versions that still fit.

Dave, Thanks, I was able to find out that it is a 1001 with several upgrades. It's been around for awhile but in very good shape. Came with 3 servos, gyro, battery, spare parts, and an OS .61 engine. Now if I can learn to fly this like I fly my planes!
