Hi, I´m iniciating in R/C at all, I just buy an Walkera 60 7 ch helicopter, umpaqued, charged the baterie, lift 5 inch fron the flor and crash it. So i realize (in the bad mode) that is not so easy fligh r/c helis. I live in Venezuela so there is not much stores or places wre to get info about this (this is why my bad english as well).

I post here to see if any can recomed god articles, simulators, advise, anything!!! i´m realy lost, and have some time to read while the main blades arrive fron china.

I am also new to R/C helicopters. I bought Real Flight G3.5 flight simulator before I bought my helicopter to see if I liked to fly helis.
I like the flight simulator a lot. It has really helped me understand how helicopters fly and how to control them.

You should buy Real Flight simulator and practice with it. I think I'll have no problems flying my helicopter (once I get it built) thanks to this simulator.



Do you have any pictures of the crash damage?

Thank´s for answer, i alredy buy a fly simulator with a contros-computer interface in ebay, i buy the heli and the simulator the same day, the heli arrives some time ago from china but the simulator haven´t maybe i buy something on line that i could download. The crash i think was not to bad just the main blades and a minor tale hit.

I don't know what other simulators look like, so I won't comment on them. I can only speak about the realflight G3.5 that I play with.
I was just instructed how to view the 'Instructor Training Movies' that come with RealFlight. They are really informative. I'm learning a bunch just practicing.

I think practicing on a simulator is the best way for me to learn. I Know that I would crash a helicopter if I just went out and tried to fly it without the sim training.
