Default Gyro mounting location/orientation?

Hi all,
Sorry to bug ya about this, but I need to know how to mount my 401 gyro.
There is some room to move the gyro around, side to side, front to back on my raptor titan 50.
Should I mount the gyro in the middle of this space or toward the main rotor shaft as far as I can or toward the tail rotor as far as I can?

Thanks

Keep it in the center of that area, you don't want it butting up against anything, less chance of getting unnecessary vibrations picked up. Just make sure that the surface is clean before applying the foam adhesive pad, and apply the pad to the gyro first (makes it easier to make sure it's centered).

Sorry to barge in on this forum but can someone tell me how to post a "new" topic. I have seriously looked for hours and can't find a tech support option.
Thanks!
