Hey,
The last time I flew it was COLD outside (well for Florida anyway), like probably low 50's high 40's. I was flying with Hockey and he tuned it up for me but now that it is warm outside again I noticed that the engine is hot, even after a short 3-4 minute hover. Is the engine too lean now, if so to richen it I adjust the main needle correct?

yer weather can make differences to the needle settings.
not that i suspect you have a problem but ( my heli gave me this trouble today ) if you find you need to turn the main needle by much over 3 quaters turn then you very likely have a fuel blockage or a leak in your fuel/air presure pipes.
happy flying
