I don't know much about r/c's, but what do you think about this helicopter?
I won't be taking r/c's seriously and I just want some heli to mess around with from time to time. you think this is a good choice? do you think it will break easily with crashes or hard landings? you think a hobby shop could fix it if I did break it?

These little things are actually pretty tough, I would for sure only buy one with dual main rotors iffn' I were you though. Thattaway, at least you'll have some kinda control on the tail and get a little better feel for what it is like to fly a bigger one. I had one at one time and I never did break it except for little things which were not a problem. Have Fun...

No the hobby shop won't fix it. It's a cheap consumable and while it'll be fun to play with it is consumable. My wife and I are on our 3rd and 4th Picco they're fun but also consumable. $39 shipping!!

I am starting with the Eflite blade cx and it has been great so far. You will want to buy some replacement blades upper and lower and maybe a aluminum inner shaft.
