TREX450SA Gears. Tell me about em.
Two gears. Larger one over the smaller one.
Simply this.
I was flying one day and picked up the lean or roll in acrobatic. Then, the tail rotor would not work, and it spun out of controll when i attempted to fly it again.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
The belt must have been slipping. Nope.
It spun and ONE gear spun. Are both gears suppost to be spinning simotameously?

Did you take it apart before it happened? If you did you may have put the one way bearing in backwards, if you didn't the bearing my be bad. The main blades spool up but the tail blades don't turn, is that what you are saying?

I'm not sure what the SA has for the one way bearing (old style or like in the V2). I asume it's the older style one way. If you have to replace it get the new V2 gear with one way bearing. It will bolt right in. Nothing is wrong with the old bearing style but when I had a XL with the older style gear, I was always tearing the gear up. On my V2's, I've creamed them in twice and haven't damaged a gear yet.

I recommend upgrading to the new style as well. The heli sounds different with the new gears. It sounds smoother. The new gears seems more durable.
