When i try to start fsone, a command prompt window first pops up, then it dissappears and nothing happens. And i had the transmitter plugged in.

I had the same type of thing happen when I tried to run ClearView as a limited user. It ran fine in my admin account, so you might try that with FSOne if you haven't already.

I think Thebum was talking about what user account in windows xp you were using. If it doesn't have full access to everything (ie: an administrative account) then FSOne may not be loading.
My suspicion is that you might be trying to run that program on a underpowered computer. I also get the command prompt window and then the screen goes blank and FSOne loads.
Look at the minimum requirements to run FSOne on the box. If memory serves it calls for at least 512MB of RAM......... If that is all you have installed in your computer then you are underpowered basically to run such a complex program. Remember Windows XP uses at least 256MB RAM just to run itself. Add in whatever startup programs you have and more memory is gone.
Now take a look at your processer........ FSOne requires a minimum of a 1.8GHz processer and recommends a 2.8GHz. Then it requires a video card with at least 64MB dedicated RAM and recommends 128MB card. The video card is the most important of the 3. I loaded FSOne on my new puter that has shared video and could only get it to load by waiting about 5 minutes. Then it ran real choppy and sluggish.
If your computer is up to snuff, FSOne has a website that may offer further help. [link=http://www.fsone.com/]FSOne web site[/link] . Hopefully that gives you a direction to look at. That program uses alot of video and RAM to run smoothly..............
