I am trying to set up a raptor with a new telebee 703 and an older airtronics quasar radio. The instructions say to" watch the servo with the with the pushrod off to see if it is in heading hold or rate mode. If it is in heading hold to toggle the gear switch to put it into rate mode." here is the problem the quasar radio does not have a "toggle switch for gear. right now chan 5 if you go to airplane mode is for the gear, yet there is no switch for it .

We tried to fly the heli without going to rate mode(as we don't know how to get it there) and the tail whips back and forth very quick as soon as you touch the rudder?????
Any help would be great. thanks in advance
