I bought my first nitro bird in may and now winter is coming. What sorts of things do I need to do to store this bird till next april? I always use a blade holder when I'm not at the field. Do I need to put afterrun oil in the engine? I'll also be cycling the batteries. Do helis required anything different than airplanes?
Thanks,
Rob

You can fly it in the winter. You might grease the bearings if the weather is crap and you want something to do. Rick's sells the "Greaser" and grease.

I would use a little after run oil, to keep the engine from rusting, and also oil down all the metal parts that can get damaged by moisture... just play it safe, better to be safe than sorry
