hey guys im haveing a prob with my raptor bout broke a rib!,it started ideled then i killed it,went to start it a gain idled for a few secs then BAM the clutch locked up,the blade kicked in and smacked me,iv taken the motor off,checked it,saw nothing wrong,checked the clutch liner thinking it was unsecured but it is,there are no adjustments that i can see,like moveing the motor,ya know? im stumped thanks ahead a time

Trey, sounds like your oneway clutch is locked up, take apart the 2 main gears, and make sure your sleeve is moving freely within the oneway clutch. Daz...

i am ashamed to say it was rookie mistake,when i assemblled motor,to fan,i just hand tighened it to test fit it,then quit for the night,next day just installed it not even thinking about it had worked loose and was jamming the clutch,no damage to bird,the ego however.....DOH!!!!

do you know what type of paint to use on the raptor canopys?

If your talking about the plastic canopy, I've never painted the plastic canopys because of the peeling aspect of it. Arizono Heli gives you some tips on painting plastic canopies so that it doesnt peel, check out there site:
