guys give me some feedback - (for someone that flies once a week for about 20 minutes) ... is a CopterX a good heli to get. If you have any experience with them which is the best to get? [sm=confused.gif]

is there a reason you're looking at a copterx when you have to order from overseas? why not also look at the hdx450 (from helidirect) and the blackhawk 450 (from ka-planes)? both US suppliers and both very similar to the copterx.

cost - significantly different - correct me if i am wrong .... i thought that for all that i am getting with the copterX that was the most cost effective move.

Copter X is an excellent heli. Friend of mine has it and it performs identical to my Trex 450.

But don't buy their electronics. They have " issues " .
Buy the kit and just get the align motor and speed controller from ebay or something. I am doing the same thing. Have already the trex, but putting it in a scale body and I am getting a copter x body and putting my own electronics including servos.
Need another one to still practice.

You can't beat the price. Since it comes with all metal upgrades, there is not much to think about.
Plus ehirobo has good service.
