Default cx2 battery placement

I just got my Blade cx2 and I'm a little unsure about the battery placement. I can't seem to get it to go far enough forward to seat against the velcro pad. Is there a preferred way to install the battery? The manual suggests a number of ways to arrange the wires, but none of them have worked very well. I'm new to helis, but I know that the battery placement is critical to balance. I flew it very carefully with training gear on and it seems to want to fly backward (pretty fast) so set it down to do a little research. Any suggestions? Thanks.

When I was starting out, I would keep my wires coming out of the back of the Heli and then attach the velcro tape to the other end. Slide it all the way until the velcro on the battery meets the velcro on the battery tray and then keep pushing it in another centimeter or so. You check for proper COG by picking the Heli up by the flybar.

If you STILL can't get it right, head on over to the E-Flite sub-forum here and ask your question there.

I'll try that. Thanks!
