Default Nope...

I didn't use the heat drying feature so it survived regardless of the risk that I accepted when I came up with this crazy idea.

I figure, if the water temperature is less than the surface temperature of most objects in Arizona during the summer, and these toys can handle the amount of heat that the sun doles out in this heat box, then it would be okay.

And so it goes...

I take no responsibility for damage if your dishwasher warps your canopy nor if your water heater is set too high.

Wash at your own risk!

Now I just have to figure out how to get the whole thing in there... YUK YUK.

Default Clean it in the dishwasher!

I have seen people take apart their heli's after like 5 gallons and put ALL the plastic parts (frames, boom, you know) in the washer and them coming out spic and span!

Hah! I am going to see if my dishwasher will do that.

Although, she might get pissed if I hand her the whole helicopter.

I guess you guys aren't married. Don't ever get married. Once you are, your wife won't let you clean motorcycle engines in the bathtub anymore. 22 years and counting....

If you remove all the electronics, wouldn't you have to re-set everything. Wouldn't that just shift the inconvenience to re-setting and re-tuning the heli?

Just a newbie question.

Sure as hell beats the inconveniences of a 100% disassembly.

On some helis, you can remove the electronics tray with most servos intact. Therefore not needing to re-set. As long as you leave the arms on the servos, and put them back correctly, you can take the whole thing completely apart, and when you re-assemble, it will be exactly as it was.

That's a topic for a different forum.

My dishwasher, my bachelor pad, my heli. If she finds me, and loves me, then...she can put her fluffy toilet seat anywhere she wants...

...but if our marriage is about her "letting" me do what I do, then she's just going to have to recognize who it is she married before she does so.

: )

Besides, if you notice how clean my blender is, I'm sure she won't mind, considering I'm the one taking the initiative to actually "clean" something at all.
