just had my first crash, heli was only 2 feet off the floor so it didnt come down too hard.
problem now is thst when i start to give it throttle its startes ok but as it starts to get fasterthe power stop and starts for a couple of times and then wont spin at all. if i turn it all off and back on again it does the same thing everytime. is it possible that this is a fault in the esc or the receiver?

i just encountered the same problem with mine.. my main gear was missing some teeth and thought it was that... i was wrong.. turned out to be the esc... my baldes would spin up real good and then they would slowy stop.. tried everything... then i swaped out the esc with one of my other birds and sure enough it was the esc..
its only had a few flights on it but my last crash a main blade stuck in the ground.. i think the baldes strike is what stripped my gear and caused the esc to short out because of the sudden stop on the blades???? jake

Thanks Jake
For some reason after charging the battery up it now works ok!? I dont know if this is normal for when the battery starts to run out (although it didnt seem to be low) Guess it just fixed itself
