I have decided to resurrect the original shuttle one more time. The frames were shattered, so I drew up some sides with servo holders in them. To make it more fun, it will be CCPM this time. I should start cutting out the sides tomorrow, out of .063 6061 T6 Al. Will convert the swash to 120deg with a 2.25" ring, like the Mercury. The OS .28 is running strong, but with the small engine, weight must be kept down.
Anyone have suggestions on making it better, other than "buy a new kit" that would ruin the challenge.
Also looking for canopy and clutch bell, and maybe some upgrade parts for the head and tail rotors. Maybe even a whole new head.
Here is a pic of one side.

Been there before. I have converted sevreral helicopters to CCPM. It is not as hard as it looks. The metal side frames on a shuttle will make it too heavy for a 28, Yes i made some for a Shuttle before.I would use G10 and plastic stanoffs. From your print I think you need to move the rear servo forward.
Hirobo does sell a CCPM Shuttlh just get the manule and coppy or alter the design .You could keep the same servo tray and use bell cranks . Sounds like a good winter project!

Hangglider; The blue canopys are rare now, but I think the available shuttle canopy will fit on your old bird.
I have one thats not in use, but the windshield is broken on it.
I probably have a clutch bell too, lemme dig around...
If ya cant find local ones, contact me.
